Abstract Text: POSCO is a large Korean integrated steelmaking company attempting to address a domestic demand for concrete five times the per capita US demand. The case highlights how POSCO controls its extended "quality" in multiple dimensions of product quality, cost, environment, safety and workers' welfare.
